Hi. My name is Tim Schoffelman.
Welcome to DaleTree Decks & Outdoor Lighting, in Sioux Falls, SD!
Wether you’re interested in hiring us to build your deck in the Sioux Falls area, or to have us create a custom table, you directly support our local economy, our community, my family, and my employees families. And for that we are so thankful.
DaleTree is a small, specialized company that in the warmer months, offers Sioux Falls deck building and contractor services in the metro area. And in the colder months, we create wooden durable custom goods for the Christmas season, and unique heirloom quality custom tables.
Our company started with a mission of serving others through each season of their life. We accomplish that by not only serving our community through our services listed earlier, but we also make it a point to pray for our customers through each build. We know the importance of having people root for you in each unique season of life and we are so thankful for the chance to cheer you on as you go through yours.
Our Daily Focus - is to build quality decks that will last years to come and create custom woodworking pieces, such as tables and durable home goods.
Our Daily Mission - is to encourage our clients with our work, conversations, & prayer. We do this by:

And praying for each and every customer from the start of the project until the end
My wife (Carissa) and I live in Sioux Falls, SD with our three boys and two dogs. There is never a dull moment (although at times we wish there were) and we’re constantly on the move.
Our Story - How We Got Started
When I was 36, my father, Dale, passed away unexpectedly. It was the end of one season and the beginning of another. During that time, I had many people pray for and encourage my family and I. In turn, we want every customer we serve to experience that same level of prayer and encouragement.
From our deck building to the custom tables create, we all do so with this purpose. We want what we make, be with you through life’s seasons, serving as a continual reminder that someone is rooting for you!
